Global Champions Tour of Chantilly : Delestre vs Bosty !

French Olympic hopeful Simon Delestre and speed supremo Roger-Yves Bost thrilled the big home crowd at the 5* curtain raiser of the GCT in Chantilly.

In the 1m45 Prix du Domaine de Chantilly against the clock, Frenchman Simon Delestre, who will be at the London Olympics with his famous Napoli du Ry, rode his the dark bay mare Whisper. He said: “I saw Bost and he has one of the fastest horses in the world in that kind of round. I knew I had to try everything. Whisper has a super big stride and it really works in this kind of big arena. In the smaller arena I have to hold her and that loses a bit of time, but here with the big grass ring it is super.
